Coffee With a Clear Path From Origin to Market

EATR is developing a commercial coffee business built on sourcing relationships in Ethiopia and Colombia, roasting in the United States, and distribution across the United States and Canada.

Introduction

The Journey Begins at Origin

Coffee is more than a commodity. Its quality and character come from the people, places, and conditions that produce it.

EATR plans to source from Ethiopia and Colombia and follow the coffee through import, U.S. roasting, packaging, and distribution to the customer’s cup.

Ethiopia: Coffee’s Historic Home

Ethiopia is widely seen as the birthplace of coffee and is still one of the most distinctive places it’s grown.

Its altitude, growing regions, processing traditions, and coffee culture produce an unusually wide range of flavors.

EATR is developing Ethiopian sourcing relationships so it can offer distinctive coffees to wholesale, retail, foodservice, and direct-to-consumer customers across the United States and Canada.

Colombia: Recognition, Quality, and Scale

Colombia is known worldwide for its coffee, its experienced producers, its established growing regions, and a mature export system.

EATR’s Colombian relationships are intended to support commercial-volume imports and supply coffee for wholesale, foodservice, retail, and Deep Thrill Coffee products.

The Coffee Journey

  1. Source

EATR is developing relationships in established coffee-growing countries to find coffees that suit its products and sales channels.

  2. Review

Before any commercial commitment is final, EATR reviews each coffee’s specifications, quality, availability, price, and intended use.

  1. Import

Green coffee will be prepared for shipment and imported into the United States through qualified logistics and import partners.

  2. Roast

The coffee will be roasted in the United States into consistent finished products for EATR’s customers and brands.

  1. Package

Roasted coffee will be packaged for wholesale, foodservice, retail, subscription, and direct-to-consumer sales.

  2. Distribute

EATR intends to distribute its coffee across the United States and Canada through direct sales and distribution partners.

  3. Serve

Deep Thrill Coffee and EATR’s planned hospitality concepts are meant to bring the finished coffee straight to consumers.

Commercial-scale volume

Preparing for Commercial-Scale Distribution

EATR is building its coffee business to handle sourcing and distribution by the hundreds of thousands of pounds.

That scale is meant to support several sources of revenue: wholesale coffee, foodservice, packaged products, retail, subscriptions, online sales, and future café and restaurant operations.

The company will share more as purchase commitments, shipments, roasting arrangements, product launches, and distribution relationships are finalized.
